Routines

Routines are per-bot schedules: check the scale by 9, nag if missing, Sunday recomp review. Ray did not write the instructions — the agent did. You can also just ask the chat to create the trigger.

Thesis

A taught skill that only runs when you remember is still a chore. Routines are how the staff gets a circadian rhythm.

  • Sidebar computer icon → plus, or just tell the bot to create it.
  • Name, what it should do, when to run. Can Slack you, touch Git, update Linear.
  • Health example: 9am weigh-in check, noon recheck, Sunday review of food + numbers.
  • Tied to the conversation / bot, not a global cron UI you maintain by hand.
  • Triggers can also be event-like: spec update, Sentry, PagerDuty, new Linear issue.

Field work

One routine, one nag, one review

Schedule the skill from station 05. A routine without a success check is just a notification you will mute.
